Our mission
Every year the BLM removes close to 8,000 horse from public land, with few to no natural predators the over population of wild horses is inevitable, but what happens to these gorgeous creatures when they are brought off the range? They are all sent to holding facilities where most of them will live out the rest of their lives. From the 8,000 that are rounded up yearly only 3,000 of them are adopted. Beautifully Branded strives to shed a new light on these amazing horses and to spread the belief that mustangs are just as, if not more capable then any other horse.
The mission of Beautifully Branded is to bring awareness to wild mustangs as well as to bring North Idahoan mustang owners together. If you own a mustang you know what amazing creatures they are, they're totally different from any other horse but in the best way possible! Together we'll strive to show the public just how wonderful these horses really are and help to get these living parts of American history out of holding facilities and into wonderful homes!

Do you own a mustang? Do you live in Sandpoint or surrounding areas? Want to meet mustang owners like yourself? Members of Beautifully Branded will have the opportunity to meet at least once a month (as weather permits) to go out on trail rides, ride in arenas, host clinics for fundraising and more! Members are in no way required to meet every month but there will be the option. Beautifully Branded members will also be offered opportunities to ride their mustangs in parades and rodeos! To participate in rodeos and parades members will be required to meet a certain amount of times leading up to the event depending on circumstances.
Please keep in mind this is Beautifully Branded's first year and nothing is set in stone.

Criteria
Ready to become a member? There are very few criteria's to becoming a Beautifully Branded member, there is one however... you must own a mustang! Weather or not that mustang is BLM branded does not matter, as a reservation mustang owner I know just how cool unbranded, wild caught horses are! There are no fees involved with becoming a member.
please note there may be costs associated with some meetings and beautifully Branded will NOT cover them and they must come out of pocket... these meetings of course are not required
