About
American Legends, Living Legacies, Wild Mustangs.
What started as training mustangs, colt starting, and a tiny lesson program has now grown far beyond what I could have ever imagined. My name is Boston Bode, owner and trainer of LBL Horsemanship. I first started training for no other reason than the fundamental love for horses and the peace and tranquility I believe we can all find within them. A few years ago, my phone started buzzing, “I’ve had this mustang for a year and can’t halter it, can you help?”, “I adopted a wild pony, and while I’ve been able to gentle them, they still won’t load. Can you help me?”, “My children have been begging me for a horse, but I don’t know the first thing about them. Would you consider giving us lessons?” and so, the lesson program, as well as my “train the trainer” program, was born. Over the last two years, I have had the immense pleasure of watching my clients build and grow bonds with their horses, helping others gentle wild horses that had proved to be more than they bargained for, and the incredible opportunity to train the next generation of riders, as well as those who wish to start their equine journey in their adult years. While my heart remains in training, I have come to greatly enjoy coaching people; however, I must say, horses are always more straightforward! 😉

Meet The Team
The horse who started it all. This mare has been with me since she was six months old, and we have truly grown up together. I am beyond grateful for her and all that she has taught me! While she is my personal horse, on occasion, she is involved in the lesson program, mainly for those struggling with confidence.
Legacy was my very first Extreme Mustang Makeover horse; unfortunately, at the age of three, Legacy colicked and had to undergo surgery. He has since been unsound but is always up for being loved on!
Mr. CK is the only "non-mustang" on my team, and at 25, he is also the oldest! Don't let his age fool ya, as this guy is full of energy and always ready for the next adventure. CK is a staple of my lesson program. While he is not suited for very beginner riders, he's an awesome step-up horse and gives my new students something to strive for.
Scouty is my first lesson pony and a key part of the program's growth. He's 22 years old and an angel... an occasionally cantankerous angel, but an angel all the same.
